Juventus are gearing up for a major offensive in the transfer market as they look to completely revamp their attacking department ahead of the upcoming season. The Bianconeri have made Atletico Madrid striker Alexander Sorloth their top priority before shifting full focus to Paris Saint-Germain’s Randal Kolo Muani.

Sorloth deal nearing completion

Negotiations for Sorloth are reportedly in advanced stages, with Juventus making considerable progress in talks for the Norwegian international, according to Tuttomercato. Recent discussions between the club and the player's representatives have been positive, and the former Villarreal forward has already given his approval to the move. Sorloth is said to be attracted by Juventus’ long-term project and has agreed in principle to a four-year deal valued at around €4 million net per season.

However, an agreement with Atletico Madrid remains the final obstacle, as the Spanish side are demanding a transfer fee exceeding €30 million. Despite this, relations between the two clubs are excellent, and Juventus are optimistic that they can use the case of Nico Gonzalez—who spent last season on loan at Atletico from the Bianconeri—to help finalise the financial aspects of the deal.

Intense chase for Kolo Muani

Juventus are not stopping with Sorloth, as they are also preparing an ambitious move for PSG’s Randal Kolo Muani. The French international has long been a dream signing for the Juventus hierarchy, and he still views Turin as an ideal destination after a successful loan spell with the club during the second half of the 2024-25 season, where he netted 10 goals in 22 matches.

Following a loan stint at Tottenham during the 2025-26 campaign, a permanent return to Italy now appears to be a real possibility. PSG are open to selling but are holding firm on their €40 million asking price for the striker. While the Parisian giants are not willing to reduce the overall fee, reports indicate that they are open to negotiating flexible payment terms to make the transfer possible.

Replacing Vlahovic’s departure

The urgency to secure two elite forwards arises from the confirmed breakdown of contract renewal talks with current number nine Dusan Vlahovic. After several months of negotiation, it has been confirmed that the Serbian forward will leave the club on a free transfer at the end of June. The gap between Vlahovic’s €8 million wage demand and Juventus’ €6 million offer proved impossible to bridge.

Comprehensive squad overhaul

The restructuring at Juventus extends beyond the attack, with defensive reinforcements also being prioritised. Having missed out on signing Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson, the club has now turned its attention to Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martinez. This proactive stance in the market highlights Juventus’ intent to equip Luciano Spalletti with a fully strengthened squad before pre-season begins, as they aim to re-establish their dominance in Serie A next season.
