There has been a fatal attack on Arun Shankar Prasad, Minister of Labor Resources and Skill Development Department of Bihar Government, in Madhubani. In which the vehicle of his convoy got damaged. According to the information, this case is of Thahar village under Kaluahi police station area. The minister was returning after attending several programs in his assembly constituency. Then some people of the area attacked his convoy with stones.
MLA Arun Shankar Prasad claimed that he was attacked while expressing condolences to the family of a youth who recently died in a road accident in Thahar village under Khajauli police station area. According to local sources, Krishna Kumar Thakur, son of Juge Thakur of Thahar village, died in a road accident. The minister had gone to the village to meet the victim's family and express his condolences.
The minister's representative Harishchandra Sharma alleged that shortly after the minister reached the village, a crowd of about 300 to 400 men and women gathered. He claimed that many people in the crowd had sticks and other things and suddenly started attacking the minister.
According to Sharma, some people allegedly tried to catch hold of the minister and strangulate him, while others tried to attack him with clothes and sticks.

According to reports, the minister's car was also damaged in this incident. Eyewitnesses said the situation quickly went out of control as security personnel and supporters accompanying the minister ran towards him to save him. Ultimately the security personnel were successful in taking the minister out of the incident site safely and taking him to a safe place.
