Times Square Billboard: An Indian youth working at Google in America gave such a surprise to his mother, which made social media users emotional. The picture of the woman hailing from Panchkula was shown on a huge digital billboard in New York’s famous Times Square.
This special honor was given by his son Abhijay Arora Vuyyuru, who is currently working at Google in America. The video of this emotional moment is becoming increasingly viral on social media and people are praising the son’s thinking.
While sharing the video, Abhijay said that his mother raised him as a single parent and always gave priority to his studies and dreams. He said that his family comes from an ordinary background. In his childhood, his mother sent him to a good school despite limited resources. Abhijay also mentioned his struggles.
He told that his mother was very sad after failing in the IIT entrance exam in 2012. Then he promised that one day he would make her proud. After this, he faced many challenges, including not getting a job, taking the GMAT exam multiple times, and receiving continuous rejections from American business schools.
However Abhijay did not give up. In the year 2022, he got admission in Harvard University and later also got a job opportunity in Google. Describing his achievements as the result of his mother’s sacrifice and faith, he thanked her by displaying her photograph at Times Square.
It can be seen in the viral video that when Abhijay asks his mother to look at the screen and his picture appears there, a smile appears on her face. Thousands of people on social media are calling this video a great example of respect and gratitude towards the mother.
