Following this announcement, Rohini Acharya, daughter of Lalu Yadav, launched a sharp critique. While she refrained from naming anyone directly, it is widely believed that her comments were aimed at Tejashwi Yadav and his associates.

In a post on social media, Rohini Acharya expressed her concerns about factionalism, betrayal, and deceit within the party. She criticized those who engage in underhanded tactics and exploit relationships for personal gain, questioning how such individuals could be chosen as candidates when they undermine the party's commitment to social justice.

She emphasized that there are numerous dedicated and respected grassroots leaders within the party who have stood firm since its inception. Ignoring these individuals, particularly those from marginalized communities, raises serious concerns about the party's direction.
