Admission via JoSAA Counselling
Candidates who have passed the AAT exam can now participate in the counselling process for admission to architecture courses at IITs. Admission to the B.Arch course will be granted through JoSAA Counselling 2026. Final seat allocation will depend on the candidate's JEE Advanced 2026 rank, AAT qualification status, choices filled during counselling, seat availability, and applicable reservation norms.
AAT Exam Held on June 4
The exam was conducted on June 4 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. It was mandatory for candidates applying to the IITs' Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) course to take the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT). Registration for JoSAA counseling began on June 2. Students who qualified in the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) can now fill in their choices starting today, June 7, following the declaration of results.
