As of the latest projections, with 88% of the anticipated votes counted a week post-election, Becerra, a Democrat, is leading with approximately 28% of the votes, while Hilton follows closely with around 25%. Billionaire Democrat Tom Steyer is in third place with about 23%, and Republican Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco is the only other candidate to surpass the 10% mark, securing 10% of the votes.
