The crisis within the Trinamool Congress deepened on Wednesday, with sources in the rebel camp claiming that 19 party MPs have signed a letter to the Lok Sabha Speaker backing the dissident faction. The list reportedly includes prominent leaders such as Sayoni Ghosh, Mala Roy, Shatrughan Sinha, Satabdi Roy, Rachana Banerjee, Yusuf Pathan and Deepak Adhikari. The move, if confirmed, would mark a significant escalation in the internal turmoil gripping the Mamata Banerjee-led party.
