Vodafone Idea (V) has announced the launch of its mobile network service at all 16 stations between ‘Aarey JVLR’ to ‘Acharya Atre Chowk’ on Mumbai Metro Aqua Line 3 route. These 16 stations include: Seepz, MIDC Andheri, Marol Naka, CSMI Airport T2, Sahar Road, CSMI Airport T1, Santacruz, Bandra Colony, Bandra Kurla Complex, Dharavi, Shitla Devi Mandir, Dadar, Siddhivinayak and Worli. Due to some unresolved disputes between the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation and Aces Infrastructure, this network service was temporarily suspended for some time.

More than 1.5 lakh passengers travel in more than 290 trips of Aqua Line 3 Metro every day. It has become a very important part of the daily commute of Mumbaikars. Now ‘V’ customers will once again enjoy seamless network connectivity across all metro stations, platforms and journeys. Passengers will now be able to easily make voice calls, access high-speed internet, use digital payment apps, stay connected on social media and continue their work while on the go.
The construction of the second phase of the metro network, which includes 11 stations between Science Center Metro Station and Cough Parade, is currently in full swing. V plans to expand its services to all remaining metro lines in the coming weeks to ensure seamless connectivity to customers across Mumbai’s expanding metro network.
