Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh are to be held in 2027 but political parties have started preparations from now. Former Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav is busy in helping the people. On Friday, Akhilesh Yadav reached Kasganj where while addressing a program, he made a scathing attack on the Modi-Yogi government on many issues including employment, economy, farmers.
The SP chief first talked about Etah and Kasganj. He said that socialists have always worked for the development of Kasganj. He alleged that during the tenure of the present government, both the districts have lagged behind in the race of development. Akhilesh said, if the situation of Etah and Kasganj is compared today, it is clearly visible that these areas have been left behind in terms of development. The farmers here are troubled and the general public is troubled by inflation. By the time development reached Etah and Kasganj, the pace of the double engine government has stopped.
Akhilesh Yadav has targeted the government on farmers’ issues. He said that due to the wrong policies of the government, today the farmers are unhappy and facing financial difficulties. The smoke of double engine has gone out in 10 years. Lack of fertilizer has made the condition of farmers miserable. He said, this is the first government which has not created even a single new agricultural market for the farmers. If markets had been developed for farmers and they had been given more rights to sell their products, the country’s economy would have seen steady improvement.
The SP chief targeted the central and state governments on the employment issue and said that the present government has completely failed in providing employment and job opportunities to the youth. He said, this government has not been able to connect our youth with jobs and employment. If there was a socialist government, work would have been done to provide employment to the youth on a large scale.
The SP chief said that the BJP government is pickpocketing the people by increasing inflation. Inflation is already at its peak under the BJP government, yet it is continuously increasing the inflation. People are already troubled by inflation, BJP government is increasing inflation every day. The prices of petrol, diesel and cylinder are continuously being increased. He claimed that in the 2027 elections, the people of the state will remove the BJP and form the Samajwadi Party government, only then there will be relief from inflation.
