An agreement is going to be reached soon to end the war between America and Iran. Iran's Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said in a conversation with state TV that good progress has been made in talks with America. He said that the proposed agreement includes reopening the Strait of Hormuz and removing the US naval blockade against Iran. However, detailed talks on Iran's nuclear program will take place later.

US President Donald Trump had said that he has canceled new attacks on Iran because there has been great progress in the talks and the agreement can be signed soon. On Friday, news of the 14-point agreement also appeared in Iranian media. However, Trump termed these reports as false and said that these conditions have no connection with the real agreement.

The agreement must be signed online

Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been agreed between America and Iran and now only the final approval is left. Pakistan and Qatar are playing the role of mediator in this entire conversation.

Iran's Foreign Minister Aragchi said that there are different opinions regarding this agreement in the country's Supreme National Security Council. Some people are in favor of it and some are against it. Therefore the final decision has not been taken yet. If approved, the agreement will be signed online.

Nuclear program will be discussed for 60 days

According to American officials, after the agreement, first of all the Strait of Hormuz will be opened and the American blockade on Iranian ships will be removed. After this there will be talks on nuclear program for 60 days. During this time, work will be done on a plan to destroy Iran's enriched uranium reserves and take them out of the country.

America has made it clear that no money or economic relief will be given to Iran in advance. Relaxation of restrictions and release of frozen assets will happen step by step. That means, the more conditions Iran fulfills, the more economic benefits it will get.

Condition of stopping aid to Hezbollah

The agreement also states that Iran will have to stop providing assistance to Hezbollah and other allied armed groups in the region. American officials say that this agreement will not be based only on promises, but on actual action and its investigation. America, Iran, Pakistan and Qatar all seem positive about this agreement, but the final approval is still pending.
