Drishyam 3: Tension of Mohanlal’s ‘Drishyam 3’ increased after its release, farmer lodged complaint

Mohanlal Drishyam 3 Legal Trouble: There is a different craze among the audience regarding Mohanlal's 'Drishyam 3'. The third part of this popular franchise has been released in theatres, it has been 23 days since its release. In so many days, 'Drishyam 3' has earned Rs 237 crores worldwide. While on one hand this film is still running in theatres, on the other hand its problems seem to be increasing. Mohanlal's 'Drishyam 3' seems to be stuck in legal trouble. It is reported that the number on the number plate of the car of Mohanlal's character i.e. Georgekutty in this movie is the real number of a farmer's car. In such a situation, the farmer has filed a complaint against the makers and actors of 'Drishyam 3'.

Mohanlal's 'Drishyam 3' was released in theaters on May 21 and it created a stir at the box office. But meanwhile, a controversy seems to be arising over this film. The film now seems to be stuck in a legal dispute. It is reported that the number plate used in Mohanlal's film is actually the vehicle number of a farmer and such negligence seems to be becoming a pain in the neck for the makers.

Number plate became the cause of controversy

According to media reports, Mohanlal's 'Drishyam 3' is stuck in legal hurdles. A farmer from Idukki has filed a complaint with the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Munnar, against producer Antony Perumbavoor, director Jeethu Joseph and the production team. The complainant alleges that the registration number of the car that Georgekutty (Mohanlal) drives in the film is that of his own car and it was used without his knowledge or permission.

Farmer lodged FIR

Complainant R.D., a resident of Kunchithanni in Idukki district of Kerala, regarding 'Drishyam 3'. Rajiv claims that the license plate number of the car driven by the character named Georgekutty in the film is the same as that of his car – KL 69 D 2772. The interesting thing is that Rajiv has a white Mahindra Scorpio, whereas in the film, a different model car with the same registration number is shown. Rajiv says that the success of the film has had a personal impact on him and people are making fun of him.
