Pune (Maharashtra): Pune Police has started investigation into the suicide of a 48-year-old employee of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in Pimpri-Chinchwad, Maharashtra. The deceased has been identified as Amit Abhay Brahme. Pune's Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Sudhakar Yadav told ANI, "TCS employee Amit Abhay Brahme had committed suicide on June 9. Now, based on his suicide note, an FIR has been registered against three people, including two TCS employees. He has written the cause of death in the note.

According to the police, this case was registered on June 9 on the complaint of the deceased's 19-year-old son Anish Brahme. Aneesh alleged that his father was being mentally harassed, insulted and defamed for a long time, due to which he took this dreadful step.
Responding to these allegations, TCS has issued a statement expressing grief over the death of its employee. The company said, "We are deeply saddened by the tragic demise of our colleague Amit Brahme. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family and loved ones at this extremely difficult time. The well-being of our employees is of the utmost importance to us and we are providing all possible support to the bereaved family. We have also looked into the allegations made against two employees and are ascertaining the facts. We are providing full cooperation to the relevant authorities in their investigation. As this is an ongoing process, it is difficult for us to comment further at this stage." Would not be appropriate.
