BJP PoJK Refugee Morcha workers have now taken to the streets in Jammu on Saturday against the ongoing protests in Pakistan controlled Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) and the alleged oppression of the people there. The protesters raised anti-Pakistan slogans and raised their voice in support of the people of PoJK and demanded the central government to take decisive action on this issue.
During this demonstration, the activists alleged that the Pakistan government is trying to suppress and crush the growing public movements in PoJK. He said that due to rising inflation, unemployment, power crisis and lack of political rights, the people there are expressing huge resentment against the Pakistan administration.
Leaders of BJP PoJK Refugee Morcha said that the people of PoJK have been struggling for their rights for a long time and now a large number of people are expressing their desire to join India. He claimed that due to the policies being adopted by Pakistan, the situation there is continuously worsening.
Morcha leaders said that just as Bangladesh was formed in 1971 after India's role, similarly now the time has come that the aspirations and sentiments of the people of PoJK should also be kept in mind. He appealed to the Central Government to take necessary steps to include PoJK in India, calling it an integral part of India.
During the protest, the workers carried the tricolor and raised slogans against Pakistan and expressed solidarity with the people of PoJK. However, the protest passed off peacefully as adequate security arrangements were made by the police and administration.
