- First of all, boil water in a big vessel and add enough salt in it, so that the water looks slightly salty.
- Now add 200 grams of spaghetti and boil it until it becomes al dente.
- Before straining the spaghetti, keep some pasta water aside. This will be used later in making the sauce.
- Heat 2 tablespoons butter and 1 tablespoon olive oil in a pan.
- Add 1 medium sized thinly sliced onion and sauté lightly.
- Now add 8-10 finely chopped garlic cloves and cook with onion until it becomes soft.
- After this, add salt as per taste, 1 teaspoon chili flakes, chili oil, half teaspoon black pepper and 1 teaspoon Italian herbs and mix well.
