The full ITV line-up of commentators, pundits, and presenters for the Australia vs Turkey Group D encounter at the 2026 World Cup has been confirmed.

Australia will take on Turkey in their Group D clash tonight at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver, Canada.

Turkey enter the contest with an impressive record of six wins in their last seven outings, compared to the Socceroos’ two victories — most of Turkey’s successful run coming during the World Cup qualifying campaign.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 5 AM UK time, meaning only the most committed British football fans are likely to tune in live for this Group D fixture.

UK viewers can catch the action on ITV, where the broadcast will be presented by Laura Woods, who will be joined by two football icons as pundits.

It wouldn’t feel right for British coverage of an Australia World Cup fixture to go ahead without one of the country’s most recognised Australian football figures – and Ange Postecoglou has stepped up to fill that role.

The former Tottenham Hotspur manager, who famously ended Spurs’ lengthy trophy drought by guiding them to a Europa League final win over Manchester United, will join Woods as a pundit for the ITV broadcast.

Another familiar footballing name will also feature alongside Postecoglou. Juan Mata, who enjoyed an 11-year career in the Premier League with Chelsea and Manchester United, will provide his insights as a studio pundit.

On commentary duty, Joe Speight will serve as the lead voice for the match, with Lucy Ward alongside him as co-commentator.

Ward, a former professional footballer, has extensive experience as a broadcaster at major international tournaments, having first covered the Women’s World Cup in China back in 2007.
