WhatsApp Message Scheduling Feature: Good news for iPhone users. Messaging platform WhatsApp is developing a message schedule feature for iPhone users. This feature will allow users to send messages at a date and time of their convenience instead of sending them instantly. This upcoming feature will work in both personal and group chats. According to the report, users can write a message and set the time it will be delivered and can also delete the message before it is delivered. This feature is currently in testing phase and is not yet available even for beta users.

According to a post shared by feature tracker WABetaInfo, users will be able to access the new message scheduling tool by pressing the send button in chat. After selecting the message delivery time, WhatsApp will queue your message and automatically send the message at the scheduled time. This feature is currently in its early stages and hasn’t even reached the TestLite Beta release yet. WhatsApp has not yet shared any information about the launch time of this feature. However, reports indicate that the feature will be rolled out to beta testers first before being released to all users. (Photo Courtesy – Pinterest)
The report also states that WhatsApp users will also be given some tools to manage these scheduled messages. The app is likely to have a separate section for this. All payment messages will appear here before they are delivered. Also, you will see an indicator in the chats where the messages are going to be scheduled. Users can also delete these scheduled messages before they are delivered and the other person will not even know about it.
This feature will support both group chat and one-to-one chat. Scheduled messages will only be delivered to members who are already part of the group before the message is scheduled. Messages will not be delivered to people who have joined the group after scheduling the message. The company is currently testing how long messages can be scheduled. According to the information, users can choose the time to schedule the message from a minimum of 10 minutes to a maximum of two weeks after typing the message.
