BANJARMASINPOST.CO.ID, BANJARBARU – The predicted score for the Spain vs Cape Verde match in the 2026 World Cup, broadcast live on TVRI tonight, has been shared by TROS Martapura.

The national teams of Spain and Cape Verde will face off tonight, Monday, 15 June 2026, at 23:00 WIB or 00:00 WITA.

This Group H World Cup 2026 fixture will take place at Atlanta Stadium, located in Atlanta, Georgia, United States.

Mashudi, a player from Tanjung Rema Old Stars (TROS) Martapura, believes Spain remains a strong favourite due to their squad depth and vast experience in both the European Championship and the World Cup.

He commented, “Looking at the player composition and international experience, Spain are certainly above Cape Verde. They have excellent ball possession, well-organised gameplay, and many players competing at the highest level in Europe,” he said on Monday (15/6/2026).

However, according to Mashudi, Cape Verde should not be underestimated. The team, known as the Blue Sharks, has come to the World Cup with fiery determination, showing resilience and a strong fighting spirit.

Mashudi expects Cape Verde to adopt a more defensive approach, waiting for opportunities to exploit gaps in Spain’s tight defence through counterattacks.

Meanwhile, Spain are predicted to take control of the game from the very first minute, dominating possession and dictating play collectively.

“Usually, debutant teams play without pressure. That’s something Spain must be cautious about. But in terms of both individual and collective quality, I still see Spain as far superior,” he added.

Based on several predictions and pre-match analyses, Spain are considered the favourites among football fans worldwide.

“La Roja arrive as European champions and one of the top contenders for the 2026 World Cup trophy, while Cape Verde are making their first-ever appearance in the world’s biggest football event, having won their last three friendly matches,” Mashudi explained.

As for his prediction, Mashudi expects Spain to secure three points, with a scoreline of either 3-0 or 5-0 in their opening match in Group H.
