Avoid painting your kitchen black. Instead, paint the kitchen walls in bright colors like yellow, pink, chocolate brown, green, orange or red. This has a positive effect on health. These colors also inspire the people of the house for daily work.
The air in the kitchen should not be obstructed. Due to lack of proper arrangement for ventilation, the person cooking can face many health problems. According to Vastu, placement of things like windows or exhaust fans and chimneys should be at the right place to exhaust the air. The best direction to install exhaust fans or windows is east.
