After Mamata Banerjee's crushing defeat in the assembly elections in West Bengal, her stars are in constant decline. First the defeat, then the rebellion and division in the party have ruined his political influence. A strategy has been made to corner Mamta, who is busy in uniting the disintegrated party, on two fronts. It is being told that a blueprint for the fight against the real TMC has been prepared from Delhi to Kolkata.

Preparations are being made for a long battle to capture Trinamool Congress. In this exercise, Mamata Banerjee is now being surrounded from Delhi to Kolkata. A separate strategy has been made for them in Delhi and separate in Kolkata. Under the leadership of rebel MLA Ritabrata Banerjee, more than 60 MLAs of the party have separated.

Ritabrata's group will go to the Election Commission

It is being said that Ritabrata's group will approach the Election Commission to claim TMC's election symbol and party properties. Before this, the Assembly Speaker has recognized Ritabrata as the Leader of Opposition. With the recognition of the Speaker, the TMC legislature party in Kolkata broke down.

Ritabrata says that this is just the beginning of the split in TMC. Now there will be a massive breakdown in the organization at the block and other levels as well. The situation has become such that Ritabrata has started calling his faction the real TMC. It is clear from this that the struggle against Trinamool Congress will continue in West Bengal. Through these rebellions, the Ritabrata faction will continue to talk about establishing itself as the real TMC.

Rebel group of TMC MPs in separate party

On the other hand, 20 rebel TMC MPs in Delhi have surprised everyone by forming a separate faction and merging with an unknown party, Nationalist Citizens Party of India (NCPI). Earlier on May 28, NCPI President Sheuli Kundu had resigned from the post of party president and primary membership.

Now Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar has been declared elected president by the Political Affairs Committee of NCPI. In this way, 20 rebel MPs from TMC have now become part of NCPI.

Mamta faces 2 big challenges

If seen in this way, Mamata Banerjee is facing two big challenges and now she will have to fight a legal battle on these two fronts. There will be a fight in Kolkata to prove that their faction is the real TMC. On the other hand, there is a fight in Delhi to prove that the 20 rebel MPs cannot separate like this and they should be disqualified. A letter to this effect has also been submitted to the Speaker.

It is believed that in both the cases the fight will go on for a long time. There will be a real TMC fight in front of the Election Commission and it is possible that the election symbol of TMC may be confiscated and separate election symbols may be given to both the factions. According to sources, the strategy is to keep the fight going for a long time so that when the Lok Sabha elections approach, many rebel MPs can join BJP and contest the elections while the rebel Muslim MPs will have the option to choose their own path.
