The seventh big Tuesday of Jyeshtha month is being celebrated on 16 June 2026. This day is considered very auspicious for worshiping Lord Hanuman. Importance of Bada Mangal

According to religious beliefs, the first meeting of Lord Ram and Hanuman ji took place on Tuesday of Jyeshtha month. According to another story, to remove the pride of Mahabali Bhima, Hanuman ji had taken the form of an old monkey. For this reason it is also called old Mars. By fasting and reciting Hanuman Chalisa on this day, Mars gets strengthened and the effects of Mangal Dosh are reduced.

How to worship Hanuman ji?

On the day of Bad Mangal, take bath in the morning and wear clean and pure clothes. After this, light a lamp of ghee or jasmine oil in the home temple or Hanuman temple. Offer vermilion and jasmine oil to Hanuman ji. It is considered auspicious to recite Hanuman Chalisa, Bajrang Baan or Sunderkand during the puja.
