Tezzbuzz Desk – These days three big stars of Bollywood Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna are in the news for their upcoming film ‘Cocktail 2’. This film is going to be released on the big screen on June 19 and it is getting tremendous buzz even before its release.

‘Cocktail 2’ is the sequel to the 2012 superhit film ‘Cocktail’, in which Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty were seen. The first film was liked a lot by the audience, hence there are a lot of expectations from its second part also.

According to reports, advance booking of the film started from June 14 and it got a good response on the very first day. About 21 thousand tickets were sold in the first 24 hours, which is the figure without block seats. By Tuesday evening this number increased to more than 24,500. Bookings for June 17 and 18 are still pending, so it is expected that the figures will increase even faster.

Trade analysts believe that ‘Cocktail 2’ is getting very good response in urban multiplexes. Being a romantic drama, special enthusiasm is being seen among the young audience about the film.

Looking at the advance booking trend, it is being estimated that Shahid Kapoor’s film can open at around Rs 12 to 15 crore on the first day. If this happens then it will be included in the strong opening films of the year.

The film is directed by Homi Adajania, who also directed the first part. The first ‘Cocktail’, released in 2012, had an opening of around Rs 10.95 crore. In such a situation, it is believed that ‘Cocktail 2’ can easily break the record of its first part.
