New Delhi, June 16. On the occasion of the completion of 12 years of the central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Member of Parliament Kamaljeet Sahrawat held a press conference today to elaborate on the government's historic achievements and welfare initiatives. She emphasized that India has made unprecedented strides in development, good governance, self-reliance, and public welfare over the past 12 years.
During the press briefing, congratulations were extended to Narendra Modi for achieving the record for the longest tenure as an elected Prime Minister. Present at the event were MLA Shyam Sharma, Pawan Sharma, Sandeep Sahrawat, District President Chandrapal Bakshi, and State Spokesperson Rajkumar Phulwaria.
MP Kamaljeet Sahrawat stated that the Modi government has worked to bring about positive changes in the lives of all sections of society based on the mantra of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas.' Through various initiatives such as housing for the poor, improved healthcare, banking access, gas connections, sanitation, drinking water, and social security schemes, millions have directly benefited.
She highlighted that schemes like the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, Jal Jeevan Mission, Mudra Yojana, and Digital India have provided new directions for the country's development. Today, India is rapidly advancing among the world's major economies, with a stronger global role than ever before.
MP Kamaljeet Sahrawat noted that significant development has also occurred in West Delhi due to the central government's efforts over the past 12 years. Continuous work has been done to enhance connectivity, road and transport facilities, metro expansion, infrastructure development, and public amenities in the region.
She mentioned that the development of the Dwarka area, new infrastructure projects, road improvements, better traffic management, expansion of public facilities, and the effective implementation of government schemes have progressed rapidly in West Delhi. The expansion of the metro network and improvements in major roads and expressway connectivity have benefited millions in the region.
She added that under Modi's leadership, modern infrastructure has been rapidly developed across Delhi and the entire country. New expressways, improved road networks, railway modernization, and digital services have made life easier for ordinary citizens.
The MP affirmed that the central government remains committed to enhancing the facilities for the citizens of West Delhi and the overall development of the region. In the future, development efforts will be accelerated with the vision of a developed India.
She concluded by stating that the 12 years of the Modi government represent not just a record of achievements but a journey of positive changes in the lives of millions of citizens, propelling India towards becoming a self-reliant and developed nation.
