Nirjala Ekadashi 2026: The Nirjala Ekadashi fast will be observed on June 25, 2026. In Hinduism, it is considered one of the most significant Ekadashis of the year. It is believed that observing the fast and performing worship on this day invokes the special grace of Lord Vishnu. This Ekadashi is said to enhance the devotee's happiness, prosperity, and positive energy. However, since this fast is observed without consuming any water during the scorching summer heat, it is counted among the most difficult fasts to keep. Consequently, many people are unable to observe it for various reasons. If you too are unable to observe the Nirjala Ekadashi fast, you can still receive the blessings of Shri Hari through a simple remedy. Let us learn more about it.

Nirjala Ekadashi 2026
The Ekadashi Tithi (lunar day) begins on June 24, 2026, at 6:12 PM.
It concludes on June 25, 2026, at 8:09 PM.
Based on *Udaya Tithi* (the sunrise date), the Nirjala Ekadashi fast will be observed on Thursday, June 25, 2026.
The fast will be broken (*Paran*) on June 26, 2026, between 5:25 AM and 8:13 AM.

Remedy

According to religious beliefs, one should wake up early on the day of Nirjala Ekadashi, bathe, and worship Lord Vishnu with proper rituals. Offer yellow-colored items to the deity. Afterward, recite the *Vishnu Sahasranama* with devotion. It is believed that doing so yields spiritual merit equivalent to that of observing the actual fast.
