The makers of actor Sunny Deol and actress Preity Zinta’s much-awaited film ‘Batwara 1947’ have released the teaser of the film. The teaser has been narrated by Aamir Khan. After watching this teaser, people have remembered Sunny Deol’s film Gadar.

How is the teaser?

Let us tell you that this film is based on the backdrop of India’s independence and the partition of 1947. The teaser that came out starts with the voice over of Aamir Khan. He says, ‘Hindustan, which got freedom from 200 years of slavery after great struggle and sacrifices, but unfortunately the country was divided. Humanity was being murdered in the name of religion. Sunny Deol can be seen in his action avatar in the film. Preity Zinta is also seen in the emotional role in the film.

While sharing the teaser of the film ‘Batwara 1947’, actor Sunny Deol wrote in the caption – When Partition drew a line between people, they chose courage over fear. Apart from Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta, veteran actress Shabana Azmi, Sunny Deol’s elder son Karanvir Deol, actor Ali Fazal and actor Abhimanyu Singh will also be seen in the film. The film has been produced by Aamir Khan. The film is going to be released in theaters on 14th August.

Name of the film changed

Let us tell you that the film ‘Batwara 1947’ is being directed by famous director Rajkumar Santoshi. Aamir Khan is producing this film. The name of this film was earlier named ‘Lahore 1947’, but later the makers changed it to ‘Partition 1947’. The film is said to be based on the background of India-Pakistan partition, hence there is special interest among the audience regarding its subject.
