The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) released the results for the West Bengal JEE examination on June 18. According to the notification, the result link for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE)—conducted for admission to undergraduate courses in engineering, technology, architecture, and pharmacy at universities and colleges across West Bengal—became active at 4 PM on the websites wbjeeb.nic.in and wbjeeb.in. The exam was held on May 24.

Shashwat Banerjee secured the first position in the General Merit Rank list, effectively becoming the exam topper; a CBSE student, he achieved a score of 97.74. He is followed by Sauridho Mondal (ISC board) in second place and Umang Bhut in third place. Rahul Konai (ISC board) holds the fourth rank, while Sarban Bhattacharya (CBSE board) is in fifth place. Rounding out the top ten are Arha Bhattacharya (6th), Srijan Suir (7th), Manish Senapati (8th), Sabyasachi Laskar (9th), and Debojit Pal (10th).

**Over 92,000 students passed**
The board confirmed that 92,753 candidates passed the exam this year. The candidate pool comprised 71 percent male, 29 percent female, and 2 transgender candidates. The merit list reflects candidates' performance in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, which collectively determine their standing in the state-level entrance exam. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board will commence WBJEE counseling by June 29.
