Recently, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced on June 18, 2026, that it has initiated a facility for eligible candidates with disabilities to submit their scribe details for the UGC NET June session examination. This service is exclusively available for Persons With Disabilities (PWD) and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) who qualify for the scribe assistance.

According to the NTA, candidates must enter their scribe information online within the specified timeframe.

Deadline for Submitting Scribe Information

The NTA has indicated that the portal for submitting scribe details will remain open during the following period:

 - Start of scribe details submission: June 18, 2026

 - Last date: June 20, 2026

 - Final time: By 5 PM

Exam Dates

The UGC NET June 2026 examination will be conducted across various centers in the country on the following dates:

 - June 22, 2026

- June 23, 2026

- June 24, 2026

- June 25, 2026

- June 29, 2026

- June 30, 2026

Additionally, the NTA has already provided candidates with information regarding their exam city and date through the advance city intimation slip. The admit cards have also been issued.

Eligibility for Scribe Option

The NTA has clarified that the "Register Scribe Details" button will only be visible in the login of those PwD and PwBD candidates who are eligible for the scribe facility. Therefore, other candidates will not see this option.

 - Then, log in using your application number and password.

 - Click on the "Register Scribe Details" option available on the homepage.

 - Enter the required information related to the scribe.

 - After reviewing all details, submit the form.

 - You will successfully submit your details, and the "View Application Form" and confirmation page will be displayed.
