IND vs AFG, 3rd ODI Start Time, Live Streaming and Live Telecast: India will face Afghanistan in the last ODI of the three-match series at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The Men in Blue are already leading the series by 2-0, and the focus will be on KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal in the final game. Rahul’s spot in the ODI side has never really been in doubt, but Jaiswal needs a big knock to stake his claim in the already-crowded top-order.

He was brought back to the 50-over format for the first time since December 2025 and was dismissed for 4 runs in the second ODI in Lucknow. The left-hander had scored an unbeaten 116 against South Africa at Visakhapatnam in his last appearance but since then, the return of Ishan Kishan has added more pressure on Jaiswal.

Kishan smashed a hundred in Lucknow, and captain Shubman Gill also hit 154 runs, dropping himself to No. 3 to accommodate Jaiswal. But once Virat Kohli returns to the side, he will bat at the No.3 spot. The veteran batter missed the ongoing series against Afghanistan due to a hamstring injury.

Gill will then return to opening the innings alongside Rohit Sharma, with Kishan and Shreyas Iyer occupying the No.4 and No.5 spots, respectively. Jaiswal also needs to score big runs because India’s ODI squad for the three-match series against England will be announced later this week, and another failure could see him lose his place in the 50-over setup.

India have also added Harshit Rana into the squad ahead of the last ODI after the pacer completed rehabilitation at the BCCI Centre of Excellence (CoE), but is unlikely to play. All-rounder Nitish Reddy might replace Arshdeep Singh, who has played two matches in this series.

On the other side, Afghanistan have been completely outplayed in the ongoing tour in both the red and white ball formats so far. They will aim to sign off the series by giving a tough fight to the hosts.
