Father’s Day 2026: In today’s digital life, we all have become so busy that we hardly get time to sit and talk to father for even two minutes. Papa is also someone who never shows his problems on his face. The mother expresses her grief by crying, but the father bears everything internally so that the foundation of the family remains strong. If you are not able to give him any expensive gift this Father’s Day which is tomorrow i.e. 21st June, then don’t worry. Words have a power that even gifts worth crores of rupees do not have. In this era of social media, a beautiful message or poetry sent on their phone early in the morning can make their whole day special.

1. Father’s shadow and comfort

Aziz is also there, Naseeb is also there,

He is also close to the crowd of the world

Life goes on only due to their blessings,

Because God is the same and destiny is also the same.

2. One who illuminates the house by heating himself

Who gave us shade by heating himself,

who gave us the path by walking on thorns

He is none other than my dear father.

Who gave us every happiness by forgetting his own happiness

3. Father’s courage and flight

My identity is with you, father.

My whole sky is with you, Papa

People say I am a bird,

But every flight of mine is with you, father.

4. Those beautiful days of childhood

Who used to show the world by sitting on his shoulders,

Who used to laugh at all our stubbornness

Today I understand those words of my father,

When he used to provide everything even when his pocket was empty

5. Father who understands everything without saying anything

Those who understand what is in the heart without saying it,

solves all my problems in a jiffy

Who taught me to walk by holding my finger,

My father is the real hero of my life.

6. Those who live together like shadows

I have never seen you refusing even if your pockets are empty.

I have never seen a richer man than Papa.

They stand like a shield in every trouble,

I have never seen such a strong person like him.

7. Father: Head of happiness

When we laugh, the gathering becomes lively.

If you scold, life becomes better.

Having a father is no less than a blessing.

The sadness of the house goes away with one of his smiles

8. Another name of God

Papa is the form of God, Papa is the sunshine of happiness

Father is the most beautiful form of every child’s life.

If I ask for a star, he brings the whole sky,

Those who make us laugh while hiding their worries

9. The real secret of success

The destination was far away but I found courage in you.

Never found myself alone in the journey of life

Whatever I am today is because of you, Papa.

Because you always showed me the right path

10. Lifelong debt and respect

Father’s love is the treasure of life,

In front of which every market of the world pales

May his shadow always remain safe over your head,

This is my prayer to God on this Father’s Day.

How did Father’s Day start?

It is said that Mother’s Day had already started to salute mother’s love, but the idea of appreciating the contribution of fathers came much later. Its story is to American history. In the year 1909, this idea came to the mind of Sonora Smart Dodd, a resident of Washington. Sonora’s mother died in her childhood. Her father, William Smart, a Civil War soldier, single-handedly raised Sonora and her five brothers. Sonora saw how her father fulfilled the duties of both mother and father. When he heard about Mother’s Day, he felt that there should be a special day for this selfless sacrifice of fathers.

After his hard struggles, Father’s Day was celebrated for the first time on 19 June 1910. Later in 1972, US President Richard Nixon officially declared this day a national holiday. Today this day is not limited to America only, but has become a beautiful means of expressing respect and love for fathers all over the world including India. Father’s Day is celebrated every year on the third Sunday of June.
