The Indian women's boxing team was particularly remarkable, clinching four gold medals and one silver from just five participants. Olympic medalist Lovlina Borgohain (75kg), reigning Asian champion Preeti Pawar (54kg), Sakshi (51kg), and Priya (60kg) all achieved gold through unanimous victories in their finals. Parveen (65kg) contributed a silver medal, rounding off a stellar performance by the women's squad.
The men's team mirrored the success of their female counterparts, also winning four gold medals. Jadumani Singh Mandengbam (55kg), Sachin (60kg), Ankush (80kg), and Narender (+90kg) emerged victorious in their respective weight categories.

On the men's side, Jadumani bested England's Abdul Burton 4-1, while Sachin and Ankush both achieved comprehensive 5-0 victories against Hungary's Veres Rohland and Czech Republic's Florian Daniel, respectively. Narender narrowly won against Armenia's Davit Chaloyan with a score of 3-2 in a closely contested heavyweight final.
Aditya Pratap Yadav (65kg) and Kapil Pokhariya (90kg) earned silver medals after close defeats in their finals, while Sumit Kundu (70kg) took home a bronze.
