World Music Day is celebrated every year on 21 June. Celebrating this day started in France in the year 1982. The reason behind this was the passion of the French for music. In 1982, the then French Culture Minister Jack Lang and composer Maurice Fleuret proposed celebrating this day.
After which June 21 was declared World Music Day. Seeing people’s love for music, this day is celebrated together, songs are heard together, songs are sung and songs are danced to. Music also has a positive effect on our health. In France this day is known as &8216;Fete de la Musique&8217; It is said.
In the year 1976, America’s famous musician Joel Cohen had organized a music-based concert in France. Since then, World Music Day is celebrated every year on 21st June. Music lovers around the world celebrate this day. Musicians from different countries perform throughout the night with their instruments and liven up the music.
