The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced Team India for the ODI series on the England tour. Injured Virat Kohli has been included in the 15-member squad for the ODI series in England. While announcing the team, the BCCI also clarified that Virat Kohli's selection was based on his fitness clearance. Opener Yashasvi Jaiswal, who scored an unbeaten century in the third ODI against Afghanistan, was not included in the ODI squad.

Shreyas Iyer will remain the vice-captain of the ODI team, while KL Rahul and Ishan Kishan have been selected as wicketkeepers. The Indian team will play three ODIs against England at Edgbaston (July 14), Sophia Gardens (July 16), and Lord's (July 19). Rohit Sharma has also been selected in the ODI squad.

Jasprit Bumrah, Prasidh Krishna, Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh, and Gurnur Brar are the five fast bowlers selected for Team India for the ODI series against England. Nitish Kumar Reddy is also a seaming all-rounder.

The BCCI also announced an updated squad for the T20 series against Ireland after spinner Varun Chakravarthy was ruled out due to injury.

The board stated that Chakravarthy is in the final stages of rehabilitation at the BCCI Centre of Excellence following a left leg injury sustained during the IPL. Young fast bowler Prince Yadav has been included in the squad. Shreyas Iyer will captain the T20 team in Ireland, while Tilak Varma will be the vice-captain.
