Ranveer's Dharandhar was not only liked by the people but it also made record breaking earnings in the country and the world. Now it has come to light that Ranveer Singh has earned a lot from this film. He has pocketed Rs 325 crore from these two films alone. But even after earning so much, he has not been able to become the most expensive actor of the country.
stalwart And Dhurandhar 2 has done a total business of around Rs 3200 crores worldwide. In India alone the film has earned more than Rs 1900 crore nett. It was already reported in the reports that Ranveer Singh did not make a fee deal with the makers for Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar 2, rather they adopted the profit sharing formula. Also, when money was needed during production, Ranveer also invested money in the film. These two decisions of Ranveer have made him bumper earnings.
Hindustan Times has told in its report that after calculating the earnings from theatre, distribution and non-theatrical (digital rights, satellite rights and music rights), Ranveer Singh's share has come to Rs 325 crore. Major part of the overall profit has gone to Jio Studios and next is Aditya Dhar's B62. Ranveer Singh has the biggest share of earnings among all the cast members.
Actually, almost all the shooting of Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar 2 has been done by the makers together. However, it would be correct to call it two films, because they were not made to be released simultaneously. There was a gap of a few months in the release also. So it would be right to call it a two-part film. In such a situation, if we divide this earning of Ranveer between two films, then it comes to Rs. 162.5 crores. This is the reason why Ranveer still seems to be lagging behind many artists in terms of earnings.
The record of highest earning from a single film is in the name of Pan India superstar Rajinikanth. 75-year-old Rajinikanth had collected Rs 250 crore as fees for Jailer, released in the year 2024. If reports are to be believed, South's Allu Arjun collected a fee of Rs 200 crore for Pushpa 2 and Prabhas for Kalki 2898 AD.
Currently the highest earning actor in Bollywood Shahrukh Khan Are at number 1. Shahrukh Khan had earned a bumper amount of Rs 200 crore from 'Jawaan' and 'Pathan' released in the year 2023. Both these films are the highest grossing films of Shahrukh's career so far.
