Leeds United’s summer transfer window has been open for nearly a week, and the club’s plans are starting to take shape. According to reports, the Whites are exploring several potential signings, including free agent Julian Brandt, while chairman Paraag Marathe has confirmed that player sales are expected during this window.

Goalkeeper Karl Darlow is currently due to leave Elland Road as a free agent, though discussions are ongoing regarding a possible new contract. The veteran shot-stopper has drawn interest from several clubs, with Manchester United reportedly among those monitoring his situation.

Illan Meslier, meanwhile, has already departed Leeds following the expiry of his contract earlier this month, bringing an end to his seven-year spell in West Yorkshire.

In Germany, Sebastiaan Bornauw has emerged as a potential summer target for FC Koln, who are seeking to add defensive experience to their ranks. It remains uncertain whether the Belgian defender is open to a move or if Leeds would consider allowing him to leave.

Pascal Struijk has entered the final year of his contract, forcing Leeds into a decision on whether to offer him an extension or sanction a sale. Manager Daniel Farke is understood to be keen on retaining the defender, although interest from other clubs is anticipated.

Bundesliga side Freiburg reportedly made an enquiry for winger Willy Gnonto in May, as revealed by The Athletic. The decision on his future remains pending, with concerns over playing time believed to be a key factor.

Largie Ramazani impressed during his loan spell at Valencia, though reports surrounding his next move have been mixed. At present, there appears to be no concrete development regarding his future.
