'Welcome to the Jungle' is the third installment in Akshay Kumar's superhit 'Welcome' franchise. Directed by Ahmed Khan, the film boasts a massive star-studded cast. Notably, Raveena Tandon and Akshay Kumar will be seen sharing the screen again after many years.
The makers have assembled an impressive lineup of stars for 'Welcome to the Jungle'. The cast includes Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Disha Patani, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Krushna Abhishek, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Kiku Sharda, among others.
While there is already significant buzz surrounding the film, the makers are leaving no stone unturned to maximize box office returns. Ahmed Khan is following in the footsteps of Aditya Dhar, who introduced paid previews for his film 'Dhurandhar'—a move trade analysts believe led to a substantial boost in earnings.
Adopting this same strategy, the makers have decided to hold paid previews for Akshay Kumar's 'Welcome to the Jungle'. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release this Friday, June 26, with paid previews taking place the day before, on Thursday.
The paid preview is scheduled for Thursday at 7:30 PM, and ticket bookings have already commenced. Meanwhile, bookings for regular shows open today, June 23. There is considerable excitement among audiences for this film from the popular comedy franchise.
The trend, which gained attention with 'Dhurandhar', appears to be gaining momentum across the industry. The makers had previously employed this same strategy for Akshay Kumar's film 'Bhoot Bangla', and are now doing so again for 'Welcome to the Jungle'.
The film is directed by Ahmed Khan. The film is being presented by Nadiadwala, Cape of Good Films, and Star Studios 18, in association with Sita Films and Rakesh Dang. Rakesh Dang and Vedant Vikas Bali serve as the film's producers, with Firoz A. Nadiadwala also associated as a producer.
‘Welcome to the Jungle’ has received approval from the Censor Board following several cuts. The Censor Board ordered cuts to bikini scenes featuring Disha Patani and Jacqueline Fernandez; the film was cleared after a total of 18 cuts.
