Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced that under this scheme, the first installment—equivalent to three months of financial assistance—will be deposited directly into the bank accounts of eligible women on July 1; this amounts to ₹4,500 for women belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category and ₹3,000 for women in the general category. Arvind Kejriwal, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Convener and former Chief Minister of Delhi, also shared this information via his official X handle.
'Heartiest congratulations to all the mothers, sisters, and daughters of Punjab'
