Brainstorming on AI workshop and education… Principal Conclave organized at DBS Global University

DBS Global University, a premier AI-based institute based in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, organized the 'National Education Excellence Awards 2026' and 'Principal Conclave' at its Selaqui campus. All India Principals Association (AIPA) and National Federation of Independent Schools (NFIS) collaborated in organizing this conclave. More than 500 school principals and academic administrators from across the country participated in it.

During the program, teachers and institutions who have made excellent contributions to Indian school education were honored. The participants were also shown how Artificial Intelligence is changing the future of education. On this occasion, DBS Global University organized a special AI workshop for school principals. This was considered to be the first initiative of its kind in the national level Principals Conclave.

During this, Vice-Chancellor of DBS Global University, Dr. Sanjay Jasola said that principals and teachers are not only teachers but also people who play an important role in nation-building. He said that incorporating Artificial Intelligence in education is no longer an option but a necessity. He expressed hope that every principal of the country will understand the potential of AI and use it.

In this workshop organized by Dr. Raghav Upadhyay, detailed information was given on topics like smart classroom, personalized learning, AI-based administration and data-based academic planning. Participating principals asked questions about implementing AI tools in their schools, training teachers in new technologies, and preparing students for an AI-enabled future. For many participants, this was their first opportunity to understand AI as a practical tool for school leadership.

Dr. Navdeep Bhardwaj, National President of NFIS and AIPA, said that honoring a principal means honoring the thousands of students whose lives he has positively impacted. He said that the AI ​​workshop gave a glimpse of the bright future of Indian education.

AIPA State President Dr. Amit Sehgal said that Uttarakhand has been a land of knowledge and education for a long time. The principal present here represents the hopes of countless families. He urged teachers to embrace change and take their institutions into the future with confidence.

Speaking at the program, President Mohit Aggarwal said that education forms the strongest foundation for any nation. Congratulating the teachers and principals who received the awards, he called them the real builders of India's future. Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the University Dr. Rajeev Bhardwaj, Dr. Manish Prateek and Associate Professor Dr. Navjyoti Singh and other senior educationists were also present in this program.
