Pune Murder Case: Fresh details have emerged in the high-profile murder investigation of Pune businessman Ketan Agarwal, with police alleging that the conspiracy to kill him was planned during meetings at a café. Investigators are now examining the possible involvement of a third individual while continuing to gather digital evidence.

According to the investigation, Ketan Agarwal was allegedly murdered by his fiancée, Siya Goyal, with the help of her alleged partner, Chetan Chaudhary. Police are now questioning Neeraj, a close associate of Chetan, to determine whether he knowingly participated in the conspiracy or whether his phone was used without his knowledge.

Police officials say Chetan reportedly left his own mobile phone at home on the day of the crime to avoid location tracking. Investigators believe he instead used Neeraj's mobile phone to remain in contact with Siya throughout the incident.

Authorities are now examining whether Neeraj had prior knowledge of the alleged murder plot or if his phone was simply used by the accused. Call records, digital communications, and forensic evidence are expected to play a key role in establishing his involvement.

The investigation suggests that the murder was not a spontaneous act but part of a carefully planned conspiracy.

Police claim the accused made three separate attempts before the alleged killing was finally carried out.

According to investigators:

• May 31: The alleged murder plan was first discussed.

• June 14: The first attempt reportedly failed after an unexpected interruption.

• June 18: A second attempt allegedly left Ketan injured, but he reportedly did not suspect foul play.

• June 20: Police allege the third attempt resulted in his death.

Investigators believe a trekking route near Lohagad Fort was deliberately selected because Ketan was an avid trekking enthusiast, making the location appear natural for an outing.

Police claim Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary became acquainted during a Diwali gathering before developing a close relationship.

Meanwhile, Siya was already engaged to Ketan Agarwal, and the couple was reportedly preparing for their wedding in Udaipur.

Investigators suspect that personal relationship issues and pressure surrounding the engagement may have contributed to the alleged conspiracy. However, police have not yet announced a final motive, and the investigation remains ongoing.
