Indresh Kumar, a prominent figure in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), emphasized on Friday that the inquiry into the alleged misappropriation of funds for the Ayodhya Ram Temple should proceed without any interference. He insisted that a final decision should only be made after the Special Investigation Team (SIT) submits its report. Speaking to media in Leh, Ladakh, Kumar noted that the government has already established the SIT and the investigation is underway. He urged everyone to await the findings of the report.

Patience Requested Amidst Ongoing Investigation

Kumar appealed for patience until the investigation concludes, stating that he has observed significant media and political noise surrounding the issue of 'saffron terrorism.' He remarked that once the SIT's comprehensive report is available, the Indian government will act based on its findings, which he believes will be welcomed by all. Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh's Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak stated on Friday that strict action will be taken against anyone found guilty in the alleged embezzlement case.

Government's Serious Approach to the Case

Pathak informed that the government is treating this matter with utmost seriousness. An FIR has already been filed against the alleged misappropriation of donations for the Ayodhya Ram Temple, with the case registered on June 25. Officials indicated that this case has been filed under several sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) as directed by the Uttar Pradesh government, including sections 306, 316(5), 317(4), 317(5), 61, and 3(5).
