The provisional answer key for the Re-NEET UG 2026 examination has been officially released. Candidates can now raise objections against the answer key.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has made the provisional answer key available for the Re-NEET UG 2026 exam, which took place on June 21. Candidates who participated in the exam can access the answer key on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in. They have until June 28 to submit any objections regarding specific answers.
In a bid to enhance transparency, the NTA has opted to release the provisional answer key prior to the completion of OMR sheet scanning. This allows candidates to verify their answers and report any discrepancies early in the process. The NTA believes this will facilitate simultaneous review of objections by experts and the evaluation of OMR sheets.
Objections can be submitted until June 28
Candidates can raise objections from June 25 until 11:50 PM on June 28. A processing fee of ₹200 is applicable for each objection. If an objection is deemed valid by the expert committee, the fee for that question will be refunded. Candidates are advised to only raise objections related to questions from their specific question paper series code. Any revisions made will benefit all candidates, regardless of their question paper set.

Candidates wishing to contest any answer must log in to the website and enter their question booklet series code. They should then select the relevant code and question, uploading any supporting evidence. The NTA recommends using NCERT books or other recognized academic sources as proof. After confirming all details, a fee of ₹200 per question must be paid via debit card, credit card, or net banking. Once submitted, no changes can be made to the objection, so candidates should ensure all information is accurate before finalizing.
OMR Sheets to be Released Separately
Currently, only the provisional answer key has been published. The scanned OMR response sheets will be released later, as the scanning process is still ongoing. Once completed, candidates will have a separate opportunity to view their OMR sheets.
