Who can apply for FSSAI recruitment?
This recruitment drive by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) is being conducted on a deputation basis (transfer/foreign service terms). In addition to experience, candidates must possess the required educational qualifications. For the Joint Director post, applicants need a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university along with an MBA, Law degree, M.Sc./PG degree, or a one-year PG Diploma in Food Safety and Quality Assurance; alternatively, a B.E./B.Tech in a food-related field, a 4-year degree in Medicine, Veterinary Sciences, Fisheries, or Animal Sciences, or a Ph.D. in a food-related subject with published research.
Manager (IT) – Candidates must hold a B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or a related engineering stream, an MCA, or a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. They must be officials serving in the Central/State Government, Union Territories, government universities, recognized research institutes, or PSUs, or have completed a minimum of 3 years of regular service in Pay Level 7 or an equivalent post.
Junior Assistant Grade II – Candidates must have passed the 12th standard or an equivalent examination from a recognized board. Employees or officials currently serving on a regular basis in the Central/State Government, Central Universities, research institutes, or PSUs are eligible to apply if they have 3 years of regular service in an equivalent post and experience in tasks such as diary/dispatch work and computer typing.
Age Limit – The maximum age limit for appointment is set at 56 years.
