Reality television star and entrepreneur Kylie Jenner is facing another legal challenge after a former employee filed a lawsuit accusing her and her management company of maintaining unsafe working conditions that allegedly resulted in the loss of the employee’s pregnancy. The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, also names Jenner’s management company, Tri Star, as a co-defendant.

According to court documents, the former private chef began working for Jenner in late 2024 while she was three months pregnant. She claims she informed her supervisors that her pregnancy was classified as high-risk, but alleges that no adjustments were made to accommodate her condition. Instead, she says she was expected to continue working long hours and performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy food containers and catering equipment without assistance.

The plaintiff alleges that despite raising concerns about her health, she was assigned strenuous duties during one of Jenner’s children’s birthday celebrations in early 2025. Following the event, she reportedly experienced severe bleeding and sought emergency medical care. Doctors later informed her that she had suffered a miscarriage. She further claims the incident caused significant emotional trauma and additional medical complications.

The lawsuit accuses Jenner and her management company of pregnancy discrimination, harassment, retaliation, failure to provide reasonable workplace accommodations, wrongful termination, wage violations, and employee misclassification. The former employee is seeking compensation for lost wages, emotional distress, medical expenses, and other damages.

The plaintiff’s attorney stated that celebrities and high-profile employers are subject to the same labor laws as every other employer and should be held accountable if workplace rights are violated.

This marks the third lawsuit filed against Kylie Jenner by former household employees in recent months. Two previous cases, brought by former housekeepers, also alleged labor law violations and workplace mistreatment. Jenner has not publicly commented on the latest allegations, and the claims remain unproven as the legal proceedings continue.
