Following this decision by the company, eligible users will get free access to Spotify Premium for 3 months. Due to this, users will be able to experience features like music streaming, offline download and high-quality audio playback without any ads. According to the telecom service provider (TSP), eligible customers will get three months of Spotify Premium subscription for free at no additional cost. This benefit is available to users who activate or continue Vi postpaid plans. Users can claim a Spotify Premium subscription through the Vii app. But this offer is for users who have not previously purchased a Spotify Premium subscription.
Commenting on the partnership, Avnish Khosla, Chief Marketing Officer, Vi, said, ‘By partnering with Spotify, we are providing a great mix of content, making Vi the first choice for consumers.’
The free subscription to Spotify Premium is being offered as a fixed benefit along with individual postpaid plans priced at Rs 451, Rs 551, Rs 751 and Rs 1,201 (REDX). While the family postpaid plans priced at Rs 701, Rs 751, Rs 871, Rs 1,201, Rs 1,301, Rs 1,401, Rs 1,526 and Rs 1,601 (REDX Family) will also come with free Spotify Premium subscription.

Vi says that only primary users will get a free subscription to Spotify Premium after purchasing the family plan. After the promotional period ends, users will have the option to continue their Spotify Premium subscription using Vii’s ‘Add to Bill’ facility. For which users have to spend 139 rupees per month.
