The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced that students in grades 9 to 12 must have an APAAR ID to register for board examinations. Applications lacking this ID will not be processed.
This directive from BSEB emphasizes the necessity of having an APAAR ID for students wishing to fill out their examination forms for both high school and intermediate levels. Registrations will be denied without this identification.
Deadline Set by Secretary
In a communication to all District Education Officers, the Board's Secretary confirmed that, following the guidelines from the Department of Education (Government of India), all students must have their APAAR IDs generated by June 30, 2026. The UDISE code of the respective school must also be included.
Enforcement of Guidelines
The State Education Project Council had previously mandated that all students in grades 9 to 12 should have their APAAR IDs created before they can register for board exams. New instructions have been issued to ensure strict adherence to this requirement, ensuring no student is overlooked during the registration process.
District administrations have been tasked with guaranteeing that APAAR IDs for all eligible students are generated within the specified deadline. The government has set June 30 as the final date for this process, urging schools to prioritize the creation of these IDs.
