During FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination), candidates have complained of serious irregularities at many examination centres. Candidates say that despite the examination fee being ₹6,195, the ACs were not working at many centers and they had to stay inside the examination center for 78 hours in the heat of more than 40 degrees Celsius. Due to poor ventilation, the health of many candidates deteriorated, some felt dizzy and some even fainted.
Apart from this, the candidates alleged that the examination started later than the scheduled time at many examination centres. He says that this problem was not limited to just one centre, but such a situation was seen at many examination centers in the country. The candidates have demanded the concerned examination conducting bodies to investigate the matter, fix responsibility and take necessary steps to prevent recurrence of such incidents in future.
