Now if we talk about western Uttar Pradesh, the weather is showing a slightly different form in Agra, Meerut, Hapur and Bareilly. There is strong sunshine in Agra during the day, but light clouds come in between and soften the weather a bit. The temperature here remains around 37 to 38 degrees. The situation is a little hotter and more humid in Meerut and Hapur, where the temperature is reaching 38 to 45 degrees and there is a feeling of uneasiness due to the humidity in the air. However, the sky is cloudy in Bareilly and there is a possibility of light rain, due to which the weather may feel a little cold.
The weather is not showing much change today in the districts of Central Uttar Pradesh like Lucknow, Kanpur, Banda and Prayagraj. The sky here is mostly clear or partly covered with clouds. Lucknow is affected by both heat and humidity and the temperature remains around 40 degrees. The weather in Kanpur is clear but the sun is strong due to which the heat is felt during the day. Even in Banda and Prayagraj, due to clear sky, the effect of sunlight continues and people are not getting respite from the heat.
The weather conditions in the big districts of Purvanchal, Ayodhya and Banaras, remain a bit harsh. The effect of heat wave still continues in Ayodhya, due to which the temperature is being felt very high during the day. At the same time, sometimes it becomes cloudy in Banaras and there is a possibility of light rain, which can definitely provide some relief, but the heat is not completely over.
According to the Meteorological Department, cloud activity will increase in many parts of the state from June 30.
