Akshay Kumar's multi-starrer comedy-action film 'Welcome to the Jungle' continues to perform strongly at the box office. The film, which was released in theaters on June 26, received positive reactions from the audience, the effect of which is clearly visible on its earnings. There was a steady increase in the film's earnings in the first weekend and on the third day i.e. Sunday, it made the biggest single day collection till date. According to initial figures, the film has earned more than Rs 60 crore nett in India in three days. Worldwide it has reached close to 100 crore club.

According to preliminary data from trade tracker Sacnilk, 'Welcome to the Jungle' collected a nett of Rs 24.75 crore on the third day i.e. Sunday. This is the biggest single day collection of the film till date and it saw a good growth compared to Saturday. The film had a net collection of Rs 15.25 crore on the first day. On the second day i.e. Saturday, the earning increased to Rs 20 crore. Apart from this, the film earned Rs 3.75 crore from paid previews before its release. Including these, the total net collection of the film in India has now reached Rs 63.75 crore.
The three-day gross collection of 'Welcome to the Jungle' in India has been Rs 76.50 crore. Whereas on the third day, the film collected a gross of about Rs 6 crore from the overseas market, due to which its gross earning in foreign countries has reached Rs 16.70 crore. Overall, the film has made a gross collection of Rs 93.20 crore at the worldwide box office. It is believed that after the figures of the fourth day come, the film's earnings may cross Rs 100 crore worldwide.
'Welcome to the Jungle' is the third film in the popular 'Welcome' franchise. The first film of this series 'Welcome' was released in the year 2007, while the second film 'Welcome Back' was released in theaters in the year 2015. Now after almost a decade, the third installment of the franchise is entertaining the audience.
