Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on Tuesday participated in the closing ceremony of “Ganga Jal Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan” at Bhainswa Mata Temple complex located in Rajgarh district. During this time he made many important announcements. Apart from this, inauguration and bhoomi pujan of various development works costing Rs 352.65 crore were also done.
In the program, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also distributed tricycle keys to the disabled and scooter keys to women. During this, a coffee table book focused on tourism development of Rajgarh district was also unveiled. In the ceremony, assistance amounting to Rs. 20 crores was distributed to 405 self-help groups of Rajgarh and other beneficiaries.
CM Mohan Yadav said, “Rajgarh district, the holy place of Kapil Muni, has become a leader in water harvesting works. It is included among the 6 districts doing best work under Jal Ganga Augmentation Campaign-2026.” He further said, “Our government took a pledge to renovate wells, stepwells, ponds, rivers, Amrit Sarovar and ancient water sources in a 100-day campaign from March 19 to June 30. It is a matter of happiness that more than 3 lakh 62 thousand water sources have been renovated at a cost of about Rs 10 thousand crore in the Jal Ganga Augmentation Abhiyan-2026.”
CM said that under Jal Ganga Augmentation Abhiyan-2026, more than 30 development works costing more than Rs 341 crore were done in Rajgarh district. On Tuesday, 14 Bhoomi Pujans worth Rs 247 crore 40 lakhs and 17 development works worth Rs 100 crores were inaugurated. In which Sandipani School of Jirapur is also included. A bridge built at a cost of Rs 30 crore was also inaugurated in Rajgarh district.
The Chief Minister has also announced road development works in all the municipalities of Rajgarh including Sarangpur and Pachor under Dwarka Scheme. He has announced to approve the proposal for grand-divine public works of Bhainswamata, an amount of Rs 20 crore has also been approved for its first phase.
CM Mohan Yadav said in the program, “This year less rainfall is expected due to the effect of El Nino. That is why the conservation works of water sources like Amrit Sarovar, rain water harvesting, river conservation in the state will continue even after the completion of Jal Ganga Augmentation Abhiyan-2026.” The Chief Minister has also appealed to take a pledge to conserve every drop of water for a better future of future generations.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that a grand event of Simhastha 2028 will be held in Ujjain. For which all kinds of arrangements are being made. About 40 crore devotees are expected to come to Ujjain during Simhastha. Work is going on on new road projects from Bhopal to Rajgarh, Ujjain, Mandsaur to provide transportation routes for devotees. He said, “The opposition is not happy. But our government is not going to be afraid or suppressed by anyone in continuing the development journey. Work on all types of development works will continue.”
