New prices of LPG cylinders are released on the first of every month. Sometimes the prices rise and sometimes the prices are reduced giving relief to the public. Let us know that people have got relief on the first day of July.
The cylinder prices have been released today. Domestic consumers have not got any relief from this but the customers purchasing commercial LPG have definitely benefited. Oil companies have reduced the price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder from Rs 174 to Rs 183.50.
The cylinder which was available for Rs 3113 in Delhi now costs Rs 2930. In Kolkata it will be available for Rs 3081.50 instead of Rs 3255. Its price in Lucknow has become Rs 3025.50. Its price in Patna is Rs 3227.
This is the first time in the year 2026 that there has been relief in the price of commercial gas cylinders. If we look at the figures till now, it was 1580.50 in December, 1651.50 in January, 1740.50 in February, 1768.50 on 1 March and 1883 on 7 March, 20878.50 in April, with a huge increase of 993 in May, its price in Delhi was Rs 3071.50. An increase of Rs 42 was seen in June.
There was a rise in the prices of crude oil due to the ongoing crisis in the Middle East. Because of this the prices of LPG cylinders were increased. Now there has been a decline in prices amidst the hope of peace. This is the reason why oil marketing companies have cut the prices of LG for the first time this year.
