Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), launched a fierce critique of both the central and Uttar Pradesh governments led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday. During a press conference, he raised concerns about the handling of alleged misappropriations related to donations for the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya. Kejriwal asserted that until there is a change in government, those responsible for the alleged irregularities will not face justice. His remarks come at a time when investigations into the alleged theft of temple donations are ongoing, with several suspects already in judicial custody.

No Justice for Donation Thieves Under Current Government Current Government Cannot Punish Donation Thieves

During the press briefing, Kejriwal claimed that the existing governments at both the center and state levels are incapable of taking action against the accused. He stated, "If you want the donation thieves to be punished, the government must change. The current central and state governments cannot ensure justice. Every devotee of Lord Ram who desires punishment for the donation thieves should work towards changing the government. I was pleased when the Bar Association decided to boycott them."

Kejriwal Accuses BJP of Exploiting Sanatan for Political Gain BJP Uses Sanatan for Political Purposes

The former Chief Minister of Delhi accused the BJP of leveraging Sanatan for political advantages. He claimed that BJP leaders do not genuinely regard Lord Ram as a deity, stating that if they did, they would not engage in theft. According to Kejriwal, Lord Ram has provided them with everything, aiding them in forming governments in 21 states and at the center. He urged them to at least express gratitude to the deity. He further alleged, "Every follower of Sanatan in the country is distressed and troubled. There is much more to come to light. They have exploited Sanatan solely for power and money. The Aam Aadmi Party is the only political party that possesses true faith in Sanatan. We have organized free pilgrimages for the people, and a temple dedicated to Kali and Lav-Kush is being constructed in Punjab. We are hosting devotional gatherings and providing corruption-free governance. The Aam Aadmi Party is the true Sanatani party in the country."

Questions Raised About Amit Shah's Visit to Ram Temple Concerns Over Amit Shah's Absence at Ram Temple

Kejriwal also targeted Union Home Minister Amit Shah, claiming that he has not visited the Ram Temple since the consecration ceremony. According to Kejriwal, it has been nearly two and a half years since the consecration, yet Shah has not made a visit. He noted that 891 days have passed since the consecration of the Ram Temple, during which Shah has not visited even once. He remarked that the person who has misused the name of Lord Ram the most has not visited the temple. Kejriwal stated, "I checked online, consulted ChatGPT, spoke with journalists, and reviewed Amit Shah's timeline. He has mentioned the Ram Temple over 42 times in his speeches and interviews, soliciting votes in its name. He has time to ask for votes in Lord Ram's name but not to visit the temple." He then posed several questions to the Home Minister, asking, "Why haven't you visited the Ram Temple? Don't you feel like going? Don't you need Lord Ram's blessings? Do you not consider Ram a deity?" Kejriwal urged Shah to visit the temple.
