The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has updated the timeline for applications concerning the recruitment of 53 Group B and Group C roles. The application process will now begin on July 7, 2026, due to administrative adjustments. Candidates interested in these positions can submit their applications through the official NBEMS website until July 31, 2026.

Qualifications and Age Requirements

Different educational qualifications are required for each position. For the Deputy Director (Medical) role, candidates must possess a recognized postgraduate medical degree and should not exceed 35 years of age. The Junior Programmer position requires a degree in BE, B.Tech, BCA, or a related field in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics. Applicants for the Junior Accountant role must have a graduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Commerce. For Stenographer and Junior Assistant roles, candidates should have completed Class 12 and possess relevant skills along with computer proficiency.

Candidates from General, OBC, and EWS/UR categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹1,500 plus 18% GST. However, SC, ST, PwD (Persons with Disabilities), and female candidates are exempt from this fee. The selection will commence with a Computer-Based Test (CBT), followed by a skill test for applicable positions. Notably, there will be no interviews for any Group B or Group C roles in this recruitment.
